Welcome to

ITAV Childminding

Hello families, my name is Sarah and I am an early years practitioner with over 20 years experience working with children and families. During this period I have worked with children who have special educational needs and disabilities mainly autism. I am a mother of two young adults and a teen based in the W9 area of Westminster.

Homely Environment

We live in a 3-bedroom maisonette, on a quiet housing estate, and have access to both private front and back gardens.

Facilities
Available

Consists of a toilet and handwashing facilities, area to hang coats and put shoes, an open living area and the kitchen.

Age-Appropriate Resources

Children have access to various age-appropriate resources in a calm, organised, and nurturing space.

Daily Outdoor Walks

We also make use of our great outdoors with daily walks, playgrounds, park visits and drop-in groups when they reopen.

Exceptional Childcare Westminster

In the beginning of my Childminding career, I worked with two children, then over the course of the years I worked up to having 14 children on roll and two childminding assistants.

In 2019, I decided to take a break and begin working as a Professional Nanny for a private family. After 2 years, I am ready to return back to Childminding with a fresh and enthusiastic approach.

A two-four week settling period is advisable and, in that period, I would like to visit you at home. This I believe gives the child a sense of comfort and you confidence in making the right choice.

I look forward to inviting and welcoming you into my home.

Centrally Located

I am centrally located with many transport links. The closest underground station is Westbourne Park, then Queens Park and Maida Vale stations and 2 mins from bus stop routes 31, 36, 328, 28, 18 and 6.

Open 46 weeks of the year
My working hours are from 8am-6pm from Mon-Thurs. Fri-Sun off as well as all public holidays.

Covid 19

I look forward to welcoming you to my setting. In order to keep everyone safe and well, only children who are symptom free or have completed the required isolation period should attend the setting.

I shall be taking temperatures of children on arrival and regularly risk assessing.

It is your responsibility as a parent/carer to be open and honest with me and keep your child at home if they or anyone in the household shows any symptoms of high temperature, continuous cough, loss of taste or smell or has had a positive test result or been contacted by track and trace. This also applies for any contagious illness.
I shall regularly test myself and household and equally be open with you. Thank you.
